And even more than poetry, the poetry itself that he embodies for almost a century: a poetry open to his inner world as to the immensity of Nature, the clash of history as intimacy of the family. For it is the same I who in the work designates the individual, the citizen and the prophet, and addresses to the reader a word in which he finds himself: "None of us has the honor of having a life that is his. In turn, this one seeks to gather the poems consecrated by our collective memory - and to restore as closely as possible the image of a poet who still looks at us.
