<br/><br/> Attempt to study Paribhasa-s {Pbh-s) or metarules in Sanskrit grammar is<br/>my primary object. With an intent of working intensively and in a<br/>multidimensional spectrum of approach on this area at this age ofinterdisciplinary<br/>need and taste of enquiry, I took up this topic relatively in small area, i.e., the<br/>first chapter ofthe Paribhasendusekhara(Pi) ofNagesabhatta. Nextto Munitraya<br/>and Bhartrhari, Nagesa is considered asthemost eminentscholar ofwhom Indian<br/>scholastic learning can be proud of. His Ps is the best and the most important<br/>authentic work on Pbh-s. The first section ofthe Psis the most important out of<br/>the three as the Pbh-s in it are Pbh-s in the real sense of the word, being helpful<br/>in determining the exactmeaning ofthose rules to which they become applicable.
