Tattvatrayam is the major discussion in Manipravala of the three entitied (tattvas) - animate matter (cit), inanimate matter (acit) and the Lord (Isvara). Ramanuja discusses extensively in Sanskrit these three entities as basic categories of Visistadvaita Philosophy. Sri Pillai lokacarya accepts his definition and analysis but makes the discussion available to a wider audience by writing in Manipravala. This work of Pillai lokacarya is known as the SribhAshya in miniature.

Mokshaprapti ke liye tatvatraya ka yagna apekshit hai. Atma ka lakshan, Gnanatmavada ka khandan.
