Ashtadhayani (Ashtadhyayi = with eight chapters) is an extremely ancient treatise of Sanskrit Grammar (500 E. Po) by Maharishi Panini . It has eight chapters; Each chapter has four feet; There are formulas from 38 to 220 in each foot .
