| General note | The book has been designed for students preparing for UGC-NET/SLET in the subject of Education. This second edition has been thoroughly revised, updated and sufficiently enlarged. A large number of questions have been added in each chapter. Three sets each of Model Test Papers, Paper II and Paper III have been added. Previous Years Papers (December 2012) in Paper II and Paper III, with answers, have been included to give the students a feel of what type of questions are asked in the examination. The book is very comprehensive and covers almost all possible objective type questions on the subject. Many of the questions set in UGC-NET/SLET and various other competitive examinations in the previous years have been used for preparing this book. The book is not a mere juxtaposition of various types of objective type questions on Education under one cover. There are four chapters, each containing questions on a particular topic for focused attention and better overall understanding of the topic covered. Education is a vast subject and many new developments are taking place because of research and application of new methods of teaching.
