| General note | Dr. Lohia (23 March 1910-12 October 1967), was the leader of the Socialist Party of India who advocated socialism as the solution of all ills of the suffering humanity. He also dealt with social, economic and political problems, depicting his vision of a new world. He said that the system of caste and subjection of women must go away at once, and "Socialism should act more powerfully with regard to issues of caste and in relation to woman." The present book is not only a detailed study on the career of the great Indian political thinker, Dr. Lohia but also a comprehensive study of many national and international happenings, aptly written and documented in 13 chapters. It touches upon deeply every aspect of Dr. Lohia, his revolutionary thoughts and his socio-political concepts, envisioned by him throughout his life-time.
