Principles and Practices of Banking is a comprehensive study of finance as a subject and has been put together for students who aspire for careers in banking and intend to appear for banking examinations or work in the financial sector.

To start with, the book first provides an in-depth knowledge about the banking sector, banking laws, credit theories and practices and what banking really means. This section culminates with a series of practice papers for the students to judge their own expertise and understanding of the subject.

There are also detailed chapters on the various modes of banking along with their disadvantages and advantages and this includes mobile and internet banking technologies as well.

Interest rates are also introduced in this book: how and why it varies between different banks and different types of accounts and how the different Government banks vary in their distribution of rates of interest on different types of loans, etc. Along with this, there are other aspects of banking systems that are dealt in detail.

There are separate practice papers for students who wish to take banking examinations or appear for interviews in the financial sectors. Solved questions of the previous years have also been provided for the utmost aid of the students.
