The present work named kasika is a commentary by Upadhyaya Sucaritamisra on the Mimamsa Slokavartika. Of the two systems of Momamsa and Brahma-Mimamsa, the firsr is dealt with by jaimini in twelve adhyayas containing about 2700 sutras beginning with Athatodharma Jijnasa.
