In the present thesis E Pococke has reached nonetheless startling conclusions that history of Greece and ancient world is the history of Indian past. This lost past of the world may be revived on the basis of literary, linguistic, social, and cultural identities and similarities found among various races of the world. If we want to revive the lost history and lost past of the world, the history of world will have to be studied from a new point of view, which may be known as Indo-centric point of view.
