The Uttararamacarita (उत्तररामचरित, IAST: Uttararāmacarita) is a Sanskrit play in 7 acts in the Nataka style by Bhavabhuti.[1] It covers the events of the Uttara Kanda of the Valmiki Ramayana, the final years of Rama on Earth up to his ascension. The Sanskritist and Archaeologist Hasmukh Dhirajlal Sankalia demonstrated that Dinnaga, author of Kundamala, influenced Bhavabhuti in the writing of the Uttaramacarita.
